This $138 ultra-quiet garage door opener can be controlled from your phone

Amazon currently has Chamberlain's B550 smartphone-controlled garage door opener kit on sale for $138, which is $61 less than it normally sells for. This is a full replacement for your existing garage door opener, motor and all. It has Chamberlain's MyQ technology built right in, which allows you to remotely control it using just your smartphone from anywhere with the free Android and iOS app.

This kit comes with the motor and belt, an outdoor keypad, two in-car three button openers, a single button in-garage opener, and two sensors to ensure that there are no obstacles in the way when the door is being closed. If you have an existing garage door opener, it should be a pretty straight-forward install, though you may want to seek help from a local handyman while installing it.
