As they have for years, Canadians will be able to purchase LG's flagship device when it is released this Spring, according to the company.
Announced today at Mobile World Congress, we already know a lot about the LG G5 — a Snapdragon 820 chip, massive 4GB of RAM, 8MP wide-angle rear camera and 16MP regular camera, 2800mAh removable battery with a modular connection for a number of "Friends" — but we don't know its Canadian price or availability.
It's fairly certain that the Big Three carriers, Rogers, Telus and Bell, will carry the phone, along with regional brands MTS, SaskTel, and Eastlink. Wind Mobile, even without an LTE network, will definitely carry the device, as well, offering it on its WindTab and WindTab Boost tiers.
Give the weakness of the Canadian Dollar, it's possible the G5 will debut closer to $800 CAD than the $700 the G4 sold for outright when it debuted this time last year.
All will be known soon, so stay tuned to Android Central for all the details.
