Huawei's Watch is the best Android Wear watch you can buy today. It's a stylish representation of everything Google intended Android Wear to be, and looks good on nearly every wrist.
CAUTION: Android Wear 2.0 includes some incredible new features for smartwatches, and will be released soon! A release like that usually means new smartwatches are right around the corner, so the current offerings will soon be available at a reduced price and more capable models will be available. We don't know which of the current Android Wear watches are going to be updated, but with the holiday season upon us there are lots of great deals on current hardware!

It's packing a fully circular always-on display, microphone and speaker for handling calls, and a heart-rate sensor for connecting with your favorite fitness apps. The battery will last the average user multiple days, but promises to last through a whole day no matter who you are.
Bottom line: If you want all of Android Wear with some style, you want a Huawei Watch.

Why the Huawei Watch is the best
Huawei's first try at Android Wear did a lot of things right. First, off, it's round, which at this point is a near necessity for a watch to land at the top of our list. And the Huawei Watch (as the company is quick to remind you) is all-the-way-round, with no "flat tire" to break the perfect circle. The bezel is nicely sculpted, make it look a little thinner than it actually is. And while the lugs are still a little on the large side and the body perhaps just a tad thicker than we'd like in a traditional watch, it remains nicely designed. The 2-o'clock crown position is a nice touch as well.
And don't look past Huawei's leather. We've used many Android Wear watches with any number of types of leather bands, and Huawei's is the first that hasn't disappointed us. It looks as good as it feels, with proper stitching down both sides. And if you don't like the leather, Huawei has a number of first-party bracelet options as well. And both the watch and body are available in a number of colors, styles — and price points, ranging from $349 to $799 for gold on gold.
Add all that up, and the Huawei Watch is an easy choice as our top pick. If we had to single out one gripe, it would be that you have to be careful when placing this thing on the charger. It doesn't always sit properly, and you may come back to a dead watch in the morning.

Moto 360 (2015)
As the first "round" Android Wear watch, Moto 360 got a lot of attention for its unique look. The incomplete circle in the display is due to the Moto "display shelf" which includes sensor for auto-brightness controls — something few competing watches offer. The always-on display and included quick-release straps made the 2015 Moto 360 a popular successor to the original, but the ability to personalize the watch to your liking is where this watch truly stands out. You can build your own Moto 360 on Moto Maker with a custom bezel and watch casing, or you can buy one of the more common designs in many stores around the world.
Bottom line: If you want an Android Wear watch that matches your personality and prefer functionality to form, this is the watch for you.
One more thing: Moto 360 comes in 42mm and 46mm for men, and a 42mm women's version. A Sport version of the Moto 360 is also available.

ASUS ZenWatch 2
Android Wear is, first a foremost, a way to interact with your phone remotely. ASUS has positioned the ZenWatch 2 as a way to enjoy the best Android Wear features without emptying your wallet. The square design helps the watch stand out as a gadget to be enjoyed, and removing the heartrate sensor helped ASUS to drop the price well below the competition.
Bottom line: If you really want Android Wear but don't need something pretending to be a piece of jewelry on your wrist, this is the watch for you.
One more thing: ZenWatch 2 is available in 1.45-inch and 1.63-inch models, and can be purchased in Silver, Gunmetal, Gold, and Rose Gold.
Conclusion
If you're looking for an Android Wear experience that can be worn anywhere and still look like a regular watch, Huawei has what you need. If you want the most personal smartwatch you can have without sacrificing features, you'll be very happy with a Moto 360. If your goal is to enjoy Android Wear without spending a ton of cash, ASUS has a fantastic experience with the ZenWatch 2.
