The Google Translate app has been updated with improved offline languages and expanded phonetic input support. The issue with entering text for some languages is simply that the characters aren’t available, or are understandably buried, in our standard English QWERTY keyboards. To make things easier, Google Translate supports phonetic entry: type it in how it sounds, and Google will figure out what it is you’re actually trying to say.

Investigative journalist and GotNews.com founder Charles C.
