Earlier this month, OnePlus announced that it would be launching its first budget Smart TVs in India on July 2. The new OnePlus TV series is expected to be significantly cheaper than the Q1 series launched last year, with rumors suggesting a starting price of around $200. Ahead of the official launch next week, Amazon has opened pre-bookings for the new OnePlus TVs.
While not much is known about the new OnePlus TV series yet, you can now head over to Amazon and pre-book the new OnePlus TV series for ₹1,000 ($13). Consumers who pre-book the new series will also get a two-year extended warranty and ₹1,000 as Amazon Pay balance by August 20. However, you will have to purchase one of the OnePlus TV models before August 5.
As confirmed in a blog post by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau last week, the company will be launching two new series of OnePlus TV, targeting the entry-level and mid-range segments. Despite their more accessible price point, however, the new OnePlus TVs are claimed to offer impressive picture quality. The TVs will have 93% DCI-P3 coverage and Dolby Vision certification as well. In terms of design, the new OnePlus TVs will have extremely thin bezels for a truly immersive experience.
