Android 11 Beta is now available for OnePlus 8 series

The Android 11 Beta will be opening up to third-party manufacturers later this month.

Update: Now available for OnePlus 8 series

The first public beta of Android 11 is here, and it is limited to the Pixels. Google opened up the beta program to 12 third-party OEMs last year, but you'll have to wait a little longer to try out the upcoming version of Android if you're not using a Pixel. Thankfully, we now have confirmation from the likes of Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus over their participation in the Android 11 Beta.

For now, these are the phones that are eligible for the Android 11 Beta:

  • Google Pixel 2
  • Google Pixel 2 XL
  • Google Pixel 3
  • Google Pixel 3 XL
  • Google Pixel 3a
  • Google Pixel 3a XL
  • Google Pixel 4
  • Google Pixel 4 XL

These devices will be added to the list before the end of June:

We don't know when the Android 11 Beta program will kick off for other third-party phones, but it is a good bet that we'll hear more in the next two weeks. We should also see Vivo, Realme, Nokia, and other manufacturers make similar announcements of their participation in the beta shortly.

As for Pixels, all of Google's phones aside from the first-gen Pixel and Pixel XL can run the Android 11 Beta. If you have an eligible device, here's how to install the build right now. Alternatively, you can use the Android Flash Tool to manually flash the beta build to your Pixel.
