It's no surprise that Samsung is readying to announce the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge on February 21, and now the phones have both passed through the FCC. The Galaxy S7 proper will carry the model number SM-G930A, while the edge variant will be SM-G935A. Models numbers for each U.S. carrier will be slightly different, and designated by the last letter of the model number, as Samsung usually does.
No other details were revealed in the FCC listings of these phones. We've already seen a number of leaks that have revealed potential designs but nothing has been confirmed by Samsung at this time. Passing through the FCC is just another step in the process to bring these phones to the U.S. carriers. Stay tuned for the official announcement on February 21 in Barcelona.
