Cloud storage service Copy shutting down on May 1

Barracuda Networks has announced that its cloud storage service, Copy, will be shutting down as of May 1, 2016. Barracuda made the announcement on its website, and is currently sending out emails to users to let them know that they have until May 1 to migrate their data or save their files. From the email:

As of May 1, 2016, you will no longer have access to the data stored in your account. Please sign in to your account and migrate your data (see our How-To Guide here) or save a copy of your files on your local computer before May 1, 2016. After May 1, 2016, data will no longer be retained in the system. Failure to migrate your data prior to May 1, 2016 may result in data loss.

The Copy cloud storage service was originally announced in February of 2013, but has faced tough competition from the likes of Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft's OneDrive. Barracuda also announced that it will be shutting down its IT-focused cloud offering, CudaDrive, on the same date.

Thanks for the tip, Dion!
