Amazon has been adding new integrations to the Echo each week, and the latest addition is the music streaming service Spotify. That's right, the Echo can now play your favorite Spotify tunes with a simple voice command instead of only being able to stream it from your phone through a Bluetooth connection. In order to use Spotify on your Echo, you will need to be a paying member of Spotify's Premium service, which you can sign up for a free 30 day trial if you are not already a member.
To access your favorite tunes, you can simply say "Alexa, play Backstreet Boys on Spotify" and the music will begin. This is a huge addition for those who like to listen to music around the house. Is this enough to make you want to purchase an Echo finally? Let us know in the comments.
