Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and 4S leak on company support pages

It looks like a couple of new Alcatel OneTouch phones, the Idol 4 and the Idol 4S, have leaked out before they were meant to. The pair of phones were outed by, of all things, Alcatel's own support site, with pages detailing the complete specifications of each phone.

According to the support page, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 features a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It's powered by a 1.7GHz + 1.2GHz octa-core processor. It comes in multiple models, both with 16GB of storage, though one has 2GB of RAM while the other has 3GB. Both models can expand their storage capacity with a microSD card. It features a 13MP rear camera, along with an 8MP front-facing camera, which is paired with its own flash. The Idol 4 also packs a 2160mAh battery.

The Idol 4S, also running Marshmallow, features a 5.5-inch 1440p QHD AMOLED display. Powered by a 1.8GHz + 1.4GHz octa-core processor, the 4S comes in one configuration with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM, with the storage once again expandable with a microSD card. The rear camera is a 16MP shooter, while the front-facing camera, as with the Idol 4, is an 8MP camera with a dedicated flash.

As this is a leak, there is as of yet no pricing information on either phone. It seems likely that both handsets will be formally revealed soon, perhaps at MWC 2016 in Barcelona.
