Xiaomi unveils $105 Redmi 3 with metal body, 5-inch 720p display and 4100mAh battery

Xiaomi has launched its latest handset in the sub-$150 series, the Redmi 3. The phone now comes with a metal body with a diamond-patterned finish at the back, and is set to go on sale in China starting January 12 for 699 Yuan ($106).
