ASUS is launching its ZenFone Zoom smartphone in India today, with its 13MP rear camera that has a 3X optical zoom. The company has not yet revealed a price point for the smartphone in India.
The ZenFone Zoom's biggest selling point is its camera, which supports features like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), laser-assisted auto-focus, and a 'Super Resolution' mode that combines 4 shots into one 52MP image. The phone itself has a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, an Intel Intel Atom Z3590 processor and a 3000mAh battery.
ASUS previously announced the ZenFone Zoom would be released in the U.S. sometime in February for the price of $399 at B&H Photo.
